The Line-up :

OSIRION is an old school Black metal band from Savoie (France), born in November 2001 by the will of Turannos (6 strings) to spread the True Black Metal spirit, in opposition to the present and commercial B.M.. Before having set up Osirion, Turannos has created or integrated several extreme metal bands (Among whom Animus Herilis). He was first helped by Nieluge (Voices & 6 strings), Maldoror (Bass) and Barbituric (Drums), who allowed the band to play live until 2006.
Ever since, the line-up has changed : Nieluge was replaced by Valharik (Voices & 6 strings) in 2003, and Barbituric by Mhorgh.

The Music :

OSIRION plays a raw BM : screaming voices, lyrics claiming the "Sex-War-Satan" credo, guitars riffs are sometimes speed, sometimes heavy in order to deliver sheer rage and hate. And the drummer really kicks ass !
- The first demo, named "An Opus For Lucifer", was an analogic recording with a rhythms box and was out in April 2002 : it has been since remastered and reedited, limited to 66 examplaries.
- The second demo was recorded digitally; baptised "Evil Made History", it was released in February 2003 on D.U.K.E. A title on a promo tape appeared at Symbolic prod.
- A split CD-R (with Zarach'Baal'Taragh) containing live tracks is brung out in summer 2003 at Symbolic Prod. (F)
- The debut album "Har Sabbat" has been released in apr. 05 at DUKE's. It contains 10 tracks of old school & hateful BM.
- A split tape with 4 tiltles by OSIRION was released in 2005 at War prod (P).
- A split Ep OSIRION / THE BLACK DEATH named "Smashing the symboils of dead religions" was released in 2006 at Winterreich prod (Aus).

The promotion :

- OSIRION's official website is weekly updated and contains all informations (News, Mp3, lyrics & tabs…)
- OSIRION's assaults are available on several labels and distro : D.U.K.E., Adipocere, Osmose prod., Holy records, Aura Mystique, Drakkar, Diahablerie, Angel of Death, Forgotten Wisdom, Kaly prod., Brutal Druids Prod., The Way Of Force distro...

- In 2001-06, OSIRION did fifteen gigs, in particular with great internationals (Gorerotted, Decapitated) and French bands (Himinbjorg, Arkhon Infaustus, Scarve, Otargos, Belenos, Benighted).
